South Australian players strike it lucky in Saturday X Lotto Megadraw

Last night’s Saturday X Lotto Megadraw proved to be prosperous for South Australian players, with four $1.25 million Division One prize wins set to be shared amongst 82 lucky locals.
One winner, a woman from Adelaide’s western suburbs, registered her entry on an Easiplay Club membership allowing SA Lotteries to contact her this morning with the good news.
The regular Saturday X Lotto player had just checked her winning entry, purchased at Port Mall Lotteries & Newsagency in Port Adelaide, and was stunned by the news of her $1.25 million windfall.
“I’ve just checked the numbers in the newspaper!” the woman exclaimed when she received the telephone call from SA Lotteries.
“I can’t believe it. I have tears in my eyes and I’m totally speechless,” she said.
Two of South Australia’s other $1.25 million Division One prize wins were customer syndicates – a 50-person syndicate established by Virginia Lotteries Kiosk and a 30-person syndicate established by South Henley Newsagency in Henley Beach South.
Virginia Lotteries Kiosk owner, Paul Pogas, is ecstatic that his agency has brought good fortune to many local players.
“We’re absolutely thrilled for our customers, and it’s amazing that this is the second Division One winning entry sold by our agency in the past few weeks,” Paul said.
South Henley Newsagency owner, Phillip Cole, was also delighted by the news of his customer syndicate’s luck in last night’s Megadraw.
“We’ve been hoping for one of our syndicates to win a Division One prize, so it’s fantastic that 30 of our customers will share in this win,” Phillip said.
South Australia’s fourth $1.25 million Division One winner remains a mystery. SA Lotteries encourages players who purchased an entry for last night’s draw at Better Health Pharmacy in Fulham Gardens to check their tickets for the following winning numbers:

The mystery player is urged to contact SA Lotteries Head Office on 8208 4100 as soon as possible to claim their prize.
The South Australian winners shared last night’s $30 million Saturday X Lotto Division One prize pool with 20 interstate players.
Overall in last night’s draw, South Australian players won 120,567 prizes totalling more than $7.7 million.
SA Lotteries’ profits from Saturday X Lotto are distributed to State hospitals for the benefit of all South Australians.
