The Pools player scores second Division One goal in less than a year!

3 July 2012

A man from Adelaide’s northern suburbs has scored with The Pools for the second time in less than a year, having now enjoyed two Division One wins.

The self-confessed “mad football fan” won a Division One prize of more than $117,000 in January this year, and has today claimed more than $1 million after once again correctly predicting the winning numbers of the soccer-based game of chance.

The second-time winner feels incredibly fortunate to have had luck on his side once again, after more than 10 years of analysing Match Lists and predicting outcomes of soccer matches in the hopes of scoring it big.

“The Pools is a great way to put my knowledge of leagues, teams and players to good use, and I really enjoy the thrill of playing,” the man said upon presenting his winning ticket at SA Lotteries Head Office.

“It’s so incredible to be back here in the Winner’s Lounge, but this time, I’m leaving as a millionaire,” he laughed.

The winner purchased his entry at Eagles Bar and Bistro in Beverley and shared the $2.19 million Division One prize pool with an interstate player.

SA Lotteries is still waiting to meet South Australia’s mystery Saturday X Lotto millionaire, who won a $1.25 million Division One prize in the Megadraw this weekend. The winning ticket was purchased at Better Health Pharmacy in Fulham Gardens and contains the following numbers:

8      30      32      33      37      40

The winner is urged to contact SA Lotteries Head Office on 8208 4100 as soon as possible to claim their prize.

SA Lotteries’ profits from The Pools go towards recreation and sport in South Australia to support and develop our sporting facilities and services, while SA Lotteries’ profits from Saturday X Lotto are distributed to State hospitals for the benefit of all South Australians.
