Adelaide office syndicate scores $1 million X Lotto prize

A syndicate of 11 workmates has claimed a $1 million Division One prize, which they won in Monday’s X Lotto draw.

As the winning entry was registered on an Easiplay Club membership card,

SA Lotteries was able to contact the syndicate manager, who was unaware of the group’s good fortune when the winning phone call was made.

“Is this for real?” the syndicate manager asked.

“It’s unbelievable! I keep pinching myself,” she said.

“I don’t know what everyone else is going to do with their share, but I’m going to buy myself something nice.”

The syndicate’s winning Easi-Pick entry was purchased at Hotel Richmond in Adelaide and was the only Division One prize won in Monday’s X Lotto draw.

SA Lotteries’ profits from Monday and Wednesday X Lotto are distributed to State hospitals for the benefit of all South Australians.
