Lottery Scams

Don’t be fooled – SA Lotteries does not notify prize winners via email.

If you have received an email from someone claiming to be from SA Lotteries telling you that you’re now a millionaire, please:

• do not reply to the email 
  
• do not pay money in advance to collect a “prize” 
  
• do not reveal your full identity
  
• do not release your bank account or credit card details

Keep your money safe from harm by deleting these hoax emails as soon as they land in your inbox. If you’re unsure, contact the Office of Consumer and Business Affairs on 08 8204 9777 or view some scam samples.
