How to Play

Powerball is a game of chance whereby six numbers are randomly drawn from a barrel of 40, and a seventh 'Powerball' number is drawn from a separate barrel of 20. The Powerball draw occurs every Thursday.

 Play Powerball at your nearest SA Lotteries retail agency by:

• Marking a Powerball coupon with your lucky numbers;
• Choosing a quicker way to play ; or
• Trying a System entry to multiply your winnings

Like all SA Lotteries games, Powerball is governed by rules on how the game is to be conducted, including:

• conditions of entry and participation;
• prize structure;
• determination of winning entries; and
• payment or delivery of prizes.
