How to win
To win X Lotto, you need to match your selected numbers with the numbers drawn. The more numbers you match, the greater your prize. Prizes are paid for matching each of the following number combinations:
Winning with a System entry
System entries win multiple prizes. Refer to the X Lotto Systems Prize Table to determine how many prizes you've won with your System entry by:
- Locating your System entry number (eg. System 8) across the top row.
- Scrolling down to the row reflecting the configuration of numbers you matched in the draw (eg. 4 correct + 1 supp)
You'll see that a System 8 entry matching 4 numbers and 1 supplementary number wins six Division Four prize shares and 12 Division Five prize shares.
Prize pool distribution
The total prize pool for Saturday X Lotto is distributed as follows:
Division 1 - 30.3 % of the prize pool
Division 2 - 6.3 % of the prize pool
Division 3 - 11.9 % of the prize pool
Division 4 - 20.6 % of the prize pool
Division 5 - 30.9 % of the prize pool
The total prize pool for Monday & Wednesday X Lotto is distributed as follows:
Division 1 - 50.0 % of the prize pool
Division 2 - 3.7 % of the prize pool
Division 3 - 6.8 % of the prize pool
Division 4 - 17.0 % of the prize pool
Division 5 - 22.5 % of the prize pool
Chance of winning
Your chance of winning depends on the number of games (or lines) that you purchase on your ticket. The chance of winning a Division One prize in X Lotto is 1 in 8,145,060 for a single-game entry. A four-game minimum entry applies to X Lotto. Access the chance of winning for all SA Lotteries games.
