Another X Lotto win for Glenelg!

18 June 2013

A very happy X Lotto player who purchased their entry from Kylie Brown’s Newsagency in Glenelg has claimed a prize worth more than $500,000 from the weekend’s draw!

SA Lotteries has spoken with the winner of the $575,256.48 division one prize and they have chosen to remain completely anonymous.

Newsagency owner Kylie Brown said she would have reacted to the news the same way as the winner.

“If I won X Lotto on the weekend I’d be keeping it quiet too!” Ms Brown said.

“I’d take a lot of time to think very carefully about how to use the money.”

Kylie Brown’s Newsagency is no stranger to major X Lotto wins, as this is the third one for the outlet in less than three years.

“We sold a division one winning X Lotto entry exactly six months ago on 15 December 2012,” Ms Brown said.

“That prize was worth $1.9 million and was shared by a South Australian family syndicate.

“We also sold a $1.6 million X Lotto win in the December 2010 Megadraw which was shared by a 20-member syndicate.

“We love seeing prizes won by locals, especially our regular customers who are so deserving.”

The winning 4-game marked X Lotto entry in the weekend’s draw was purchased from Kylie Brown’s Newsagency, Shop 17 in the Bayside Village Shopping Centre, corner of Jetty and Brighton Road, Glenelg.

Throughout Australia, there were seven entries that won a first division share of Saturday X Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on 15 June 2013, each worth $575,256.48. Along with the South Australian entry, there were four winning entries sold in Victoria, and one each in New South Wales and the Northern Territory.

The winning numbers in X Lotto draw 3329 on Saturday 15 June, 2013 were 16, 4, 1, 17, 21 and 15 with the supplementary numbers 42 and 40.
